Hello and welcome to Eastgate FM this website is to remember back exactly 10 years ago today when Basildon launched its very first community radio for the local people and to celebrate Basildon 50 years has a new town, 32 members operated the radio station from administration, Presenters/DJ to engineers and backers of the Eastgate shopping centre management and merchants Association they helped fund the service. Every single person than a fantastic job during the 28 day broadcast between the 13th June 11th of July 1999. enjoy the website and the fantastic memories
